Exhibition “Around Latvia on horseback” in the children’s library

In Liepāja, at the children’s library “Vecliepājas rūkis” on January 27, 2024 at At 12.00, the exhibition “Around Latvia on horseback” will be opened. The event will be attended by one of the heroines of the trip, the rider – Tīna(Christina) Runce.
The exhibition is the story of the interesting, adventure-filled journey of two women – Tīna Runce and Līga Vilne and their horses – Prima, Dempsia and Kastanis, around Latvia along its land border, which is 1836 km long. The team made the trip in two stages – the first stage along the border of the Latvian sea coast from Nida to Ainazi, 620 km long, took place in 2019, while the second stage was carried out in 2020 – 1300 km along the land border of Latvia. The team spent a total of seven weeks on the trip.
The exhibition is designed as a diary, which tells about what the team experienced and saw.
