The district prosecutor’s office in Stara Zagora filed four charges against a 39-year-old man.
I.I. was detained for bodily harm in the context of domestic violence, rape and violation of an immediate protection order, the press center of the institution announced.
The accused and the injured 37-year-old woman lived as a family. During the cohabitation I.I. began to exercise mental and physical violence against his partner. She filed a report in court, after which two domestic violence protection orders were issued, which the man repeatedly violated.

In one of the cases – on November 8, he caused minor bodily harm to the woman. She suffered painful swelling in the neck area, hemorrhaging on her arms and legs, as well as an abdominal injury, according to the state prosecution.
