There is no winner in a duel Manchester United vs Tottenham Hotspur finished. Final score 2-2.
In the match at Old Trafford, Sunday (14/1/2024) evening WIB, MU led 2-1 in the first half through goals from Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford, which were interrupted by goals from Richarlison.
Rodrigo Bentancur made the score equal in the second half. Only adding one point, MU remains in seventh position with 32 points from 21 matches and Tottenham with 40 points in fifth position.

The course of the match IN vs Tottenham
Just three minutes into the game, MU had opened the scoring through Rasmus Hojlund. Starting with Marcus Rashford’s stab from the left side, he managed to get past 2-3 players until he was in the middle of the penalty box.
The ball left Rashford’s feet after being blocked by Destiny Udogie, but fell at Hojlund’s feet. After controlling the ball for a moment, Hojlund shot it into the top corner of Guglielmo Vicario’s goal.

MU almost doubled its 2-0 lead in the eighth minute if Rashford’s volley was not blocked by Vicario.
Tottenham had their first chance in the 11th minute when Rodrigo Bentancur’s header from the corner was not blocked by Diogo Dalot on the goal line.
Richarlison made Tottenham equalize the score in the 18th minute. Pedro Porro’s corner header was cleverly headed at the far post and Andre Onana just stared staring at the goal breaking.

Werner had a chance to give Tottenham the lead when he stabbed from the left and made a cut-in, but his shot flew well over the bar.
After that goal, Tottenham had more control over the game but MU was dangerous on the counter-attack. One of them almost resulted in a goal when Udogie, who was about to throw the ball, directed it towards his own goal, but it hit the post.
Rashford! The number 10 player gave MU the lead again in the 40th minute when he made a move from the left side. He played a 1-2 pass with Hojlund, before firing in at the far post.

It was Tottenham’s turn to be thwarted by the goalkeeper in their attempt to score in injury time, when Romero’s header hit the crossbar. The score was 2-1 for MU’s advantage to last until halftime.
Only a minute into the second half, Tottenham were able to score a goal which made the score 2-2. The right side of MU’s defense was again targeted by Tottenham, this time through Oliver Skipp who received Romero’s breakthrough pass.
Skipp passed again to Werner who then stabbed into the penalty box and gave the ball to Bentancur who appeared from behind. Even though Evans was blocking him, Bentancur was able to shoot into the narrow corner of Onana’s goal.

The goal made Tottenham even more eager to attack MU. One chance was obtained in the 52nd minute when Oliver Skipp gave the ball to Richarlison who fired a low shot which Onana was able to save.
Werner missed another chance in the 58th minute. Pedro Porro gave a measured pass towards Werner at the far post, which he finished with a volley even though it was still flying.
MU’s best chance in the second half was made by Scott McTominay who came on to replace Eriksen. In the 62nd minute, McTominay received a wild ball in the penalty box which he immediately kicked even though it went wide.
The match was fierce towards the end, especially in injury time. MU had a golden opportunity in the final minute when a crossing from the left was met by McTominay’s header in front of goal, but the ball flew narrowly over the bar.
There was no winner when the MU vs Tottenham duel ended.
