Controversial new mobilization bill eliminates deferments for disability groups, says Ukrainian Deputy Moshenets

The new mobilization bill intends to abandon the provision of deferments for disability groups. This was stated by Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Elena Moshenets, reports russian.rt.com.

According to her, the new bill provides for deferment for specific diseases, and not for disability groups. She added that this will affect not only those liable for military service, but also members of their families.

Moshenets recalled that the third disability group includes various diseases.

“There are those with whom you can actually perform certain duties, and there are those with whom you absolutely cannot. Tuberculosis, which has been talked about a lot, for example,” she said.

Earlier it was reported that the new bill could remove the reservation from mobilization from Ukrainian deputies.
