GOTHENBURG. A shaky Örebro collapsed in the first period against Frölunda.
The head coach Johan Hedberg was bright red in the face and showed great anger.

Örebro falls deeper into the big slump in form and the table in the SHL.
Already in the first period, Frölunda outscored the visitors with 3–0 in goals and 17–3 in shots.
After just over three minutes played, Örebro had no more shots on goal.
Johan Hedberg was dark in his eyes and really disappointed with how his own team played out.
– We have a lot of soul searching to do here. We totally fall apart. It is in no way acceptable. It’s downright deplorable. It must be turned around, this is embarrassing, says Johan Hedberg.

“Really crazy situation”
Frölunda continued the overrun by winning the duels and scored 4–0 in the second period and 5–0 in the third period.
– We became very small, there was only one team on the court. We can’t just lie down and die. We put ourselves in a really mad situation, says captain Glenn Gustafsson.
In the last 17 matches in Scandinavium between the teams, Örebro has only won one match.
In the second period, point guard Philip Holm left the game injured and went into the dressing room.
Örebro now has a good three points to its credit on HV71 during the qualifying stage.
Ice unloading for multiple players
Malte Strömwall led the way for Frölunda by scoring his first goal in 15 SHL games.
The goal came on the power play after Axel Sundberg took an unnecessary sending off in the offensive zone.
Carl Klingberg, in turn, scored his first goal in 24 SHL games.
While Filip Hasen scored his very SHL goal for this season.
Frölunda kept Örebro clean with a 5–0 victory and Lasse Johansson kept a clean sheet.
