MALMÖ. The loanee Moustafa Zeidan is out of the squad at Hatta Club.
Now Malmö FF may have to cancel the midfielder’s loan.

The 25-year-old Moustafa Zeidan, who joined as a prestige signing in 2022, did not take a place in Henrik Rydström’s starting eleven last year. The solution was to loan the midfielder to Hatta Club in the Emirati league, where things are going hard for Zeidan at the nest jumbo.
He was part of the starting XI for the opening month, before he suddenly found himself out in the cold. Zeidan has not played since October 6 and has been out of the squad for the last six games.
Something that worries MFF’s sports director Daniel Andersson.
– Yes, it’s not good at all. So we look at that as well. It is not what you had hoped for, that he would be outside the squad, he says.
Could it be that you call him back? Or to another club?
– We are having discussions there so we can see what happens.
Do you know why that happened?
– Not at all actually. There is always the risk when they go so far away on loan, you don’t really have that control and contact with that club. It’s a good lesson.
Moustafa Zeidan has four goals and seven assists after 34 matches in MFF. His contract there extends over the 2026 season, while the loan at Hatta Club is signed until June.
