In a heated city derby, Lazio Rome reached the semi-finals of the Italian Football Cup. Coach Maurizio Sarri’s team won 1-0 against AS Roma on Wednesday. Mattia Zaccagni scored the winning goal with a penalty kick (51st). Things got turbulent in the final phase with three dismissals against Lazio’s Pedro and the two Roma players Sardar Azmoun and Gianluca Mancini.
There had already been an incident when Roma professional Edoardo Bove was hit in the back of the head with a bottle after being substituted. The two groups of fans also clashed during the game.
