The success of Dead by Daylight as an asymmetric multiplayer game is truly amazing. When most multiplayer games with a similar concept fail because they have so many problems, from the difficult balancing process, dry content, to the community finding it starting to feel boring, Dead by Daylight actually continues to grow and develop. What’s cool again? The horror concept he brought was also not stagnant, but instead was formulated to become the foundation for collaboration with many parties that had never been thought of before, from Resident Evil to actors like Nicholas Cage. Now, they have a new guest character.
After being teased via Twitter which immediately succeeded in triggering accurate speculation from the community, Dead by Daylight finally confirmed the presence of Alan Wake as a new survivor character in the future. This introduction was conveyed via an on-target trailer which provided a fitting highlight for the author’s character with his flagship flashlight weapon. Of course, just like in the original series, the flashlight will be able to be used in Dead by Daylight as a weapon to make the assassin character “blind” and slows down if used with the right perk.
Dead by Daylight will have Alan Wake as a new survivor character.
