At the beginning of the show, the inscription appeared on the screen with a three-dimensional image: Stop Funding Ukraine. It later turned out that one of the musicians performing as the opening act for the band Moby was responsible for placing the inscription.
The performer had to apologize for the fact that he usually does not check the materials of his colleagues; the Moby team and he himself are sure that music should not be a vehicle for political statements.
“My trust caused this situation. However, I continue to believe people,” Moby wrote on the social network.
Moby’s real name is Richard Hall. The musician works in various genres – from electronic music to rock and punk. The performer makes most of the studio recordings himself; at concerts he is accompanied by a group of musicians. He also released albums under the pseudonyms Voodoo Child, Schaumgummi, Barracuda, UHF, The Brotherhood, DJ Cake, Lopez and Brainstorm/Mindstorm. In total, about 20 million copies of his albums, singles and collections have been sold worldwide.
