The occupiers want to cover their losses
“Now the security officers have focused special attention on farmers: the Russians have sent written demands to all men of military age to immediately register for military service on farms in a number of settlements,” the statement says.
It is noted that in case of failure to comply with the directive, agricultural enterprises or individual farmers will be punished with fines of 400 thousand rubles (about $4,500), however, payment of this amount does not guarantee avoidance of participation in the war against Ukraine in the ranks of the army of the aggressor state of Russia.
The intelligence service clarified that ultimatums, threats and repressions against the population that remains in the enslaved Ukrainian lands are the systemic criminal policy of the Russian Federation.
Thus, the Russian occupiers are trying by all means to cover the losses of their troops by men who remained in the occupied territories.
Teenagers are at risk of mobilization
The intensification of forced mobilization, which Russians are now resorting to in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, is caused by a decrease in support for the war among the Russian population.
“Since Kremlin “technologists” still consider it impossible to announce a large-scale wave of mobilization in Russia, so as not to worsen the social background before the so-called “Putin elections,” the male civilian population in the occupation is again under a wave of pressure,” the intelligence service added.
The GUR clarified that virtually all men aged 18 to 65 are under the threat of forced mobilization, and often 16- and 17-year-old teenagers, whom the Kremlin also forces into the occupation army.
Russia is actively looking for people to fight against Ukraine
The mayor of the temporarily occupied Melitopol, Ivan Fedorov, said that the Russians are not slowing down the pace of mobilization in the temporarily occupied areas of the Zaporozhye region. Young people from the age of 17 are registered.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin’s party has its own private military company, Hispaniola. The Putin regime has stepped up recruitment into its ranks.
However, according to estimates by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the number of people in Russia who are dissatisfied with the war in Ukraine is growing.
