On the other hand, the lowest unemployment rate in November was registered in the Czech Republic (2.4%), Malta (2.5%), Poland (2.8%) and Germany (3.1%). In Estonia, the unemployment rate was 6.1%, while in Lithuania it was 6.5%.
Average unemployment in the EU, according to seasonally adjusted data, was at the level of 5.9% in November, while it was 6.4% on average in the eurozone member states.
“Eurostat” data show that in November 12.954 million people were unemployed in the bloc, of which 10.97 million were unemployed in the eurozone countries.
