• Russia deployed 51 missiles and eight drones in air strikes on Ukrainian cities on Monday morning, the Ukrainian military said. The Russians attacked industrial and military facilities as well as ‘critical civilian infrastructure’. One person died and at least thirty people were injured.
• An explosion hit a railway line in Russia’s Sverdlovsk province, Russian state media reported. Sverdlovsk is located in the Urals, more than 1,500 kilometers east of Moscow. The explosion took place at a train station, near a large oil storage facility.
• Russian air defenses downed at least ten missiles over Belgorod on Monday evening, reports Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the province. Three people were injured when debris fell on a car.
