There is no doubt that Grand Theft Auto 6 will be a big hit. One of the most successful video game brands in the world has been waiting for a new addition for over a decade, and so far it looks like we’ll be waiting a few more years. As the name suggests, this GTA clone for smartphones takes its inspiration from the yet-to-be-released game. If you like open-world gangster games, you should definitely not miss this mobile game.
A successful GTA clone heads to mobile devices
As for the gameplay itself, we don’t know much. The developers are still working on VibeCity, and aside from the short trailer they’ve released now, they haven’t shared much. Visually, the game certainly does not hide its inspiration from the GTA series, quite the opposite. As in GTA, VibeCity will also be about driving fast cars, frenetic shootouts with the police and rival mobsters, or improving your character and moving up the hierarchy of a criminal organization. There should also be some crazy stunts that the open world explicitly encourages.
If the developers didn’t get too carried away in their trailer, you should have a lot more options than just the criminal path. So it is possible that you can reach your dream wealth, for example, through hard work or gambling, and you will probably be able to stand on the opposite side and catch criminals as a lawman. however, we can only speculate about what the game mechanics will look like and what the specific content of the game will be. What is certain, however, is that for a mobile title, the game should look above average in terms of graphics.

The question remains whether the developers took too big a bite. GTA clones are often of varying quality, and while some are very popular among gamers, most of them have ended up in the abyss of history. It is not yet clear which side VibeCity will appear on, but we should know soon enough. Grand Theft Auto VI itself will not be released until 2025 at the earliest.
