“Above the Belgorod region, the air defense systems on duty destroyed 10 missiles,” the ministry announced.
Around the same time, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov stated that in Belgorod and Belgorod Oblast has been declared an air defense alert for a missile threat.
Later, he specified that there were three injured – a woman and two men with shrapnel wounds, who were hospitalized.⠀
“In the city of 2 residential buildings have broken windows of apartments, windows were broken in another private house, 3 cars were damaged by shrapnel. 4 trucks were on fire in the company’s parking lot, the operational services have now put them out,” Gladkov wrote.
Since the end of December, the Ukrainian side has repeatedly tried to shell Belgorod.
