UAE Stock Markets Achieve Gains, Market Capitalization Increases by 6.6 Billion Dirhams

The UAE stock markets increased their gains at the end of the trading session at the beginning of the week, and its market capitalization gained more than 6.6 billion dirhams.

The market capitalization of listed stocks rose from 3.656 trillion dirhams at the end of last week, reaching 3.662 trillion dirhams at the close of trading on Monday, distributed by 2.964 trillion dirhams for stocks listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Market, and 698.1 billion dirhams for stocks listed on the Dubai Financial Market.

Local stocks attracted liquidity of about 1.45 billion dirhams, distributed by 1.15 billion dirhams in the Abu Dhabi market, and 304.2 million dirhams in the Dubai market, and about 405.09 shares were traded through the implementation of 21.7 thousand transactions.

The performance of the Abu Dhabi market was enhanced by the rise in shares of “International Holding” by 0.05% to 410.2 dirhams, topping the activity list, attracting liquidity of about 214.6 million dirhams, then “First Abu Dhabi” with liquidity of about 96.3 million dirhams and closing up by 4.02% at 14.48 dirhams, followed by “Alpha Dhabi.” “Attracting about 94.5 million dirhams, it closed at 18.74 dirhams, gaining about 0.21%.

In the Dubai market, “Emaar Properties” led the activity, attracting liquidity of about 70.4 million dirhams, an increase of 2.34% to the level of 7.87 dirhams, then “Gulf Navigation” with liquidity of 44.7 million dirhams and closed at 7.25 dirhams, an increase of 1.4%, then “Emirates NBD” attracted 29.9 million dirhams.
