Who comes? Who is going? The Bundesliga teams have the opportunity to make transfers in the winter transfer window, which has been open since January 1st, until February 1st at 6 p.m. So far there is still the calm before the storm, and for the majority of the clubs nothing has happened yet.

The most prominent newcomers from abroad so far are the North Macedonian midfielder Eljif Elmas and the Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek. With Sasa Kalajdzic, Eintracht Frankfurt also brought an old friend back to the Bundesliga.

Van de Beek is also coming to Eintracht on loan from Manchester United until the end of the season, Elmas moved from SSC Napoli to RB Leipzig for around 23 million euros. Leipzig and Frankfurt are also in focus on the departure side.

RB Leipzig lends Ilaix Moriba to Getafe FC. The talent from Guinea came from FC Barcelona two and a half years ago for 16 million euros, but has not yet been able to assert himself with the Saxons. Last season he was already on loan to FC Valencia. The midfielder is now expected to gain match practice again in Spain until the end of the season.

The Saxons also lost their long-time Swedish top performer Emil Forsberg, who joined the New York Red Bulls after nine years in Leipzig. In addition, the loan with the Portuguese top talent Fábio Carvalho was canceled. Meanwhile, Frankfurt ended the misunderstanding with Argentine striker Lucas Alario, who moved on to Brazil.
