What chaos at “it’s always midday”. What you said was so unacceptable that even the Rai top management intervened. Absurd.
His was just meant to be an ironic joke but instead it raised such a big fuss that even the Rai top management had to intervene to calm the situation. Unfortunately it was necessary after the tragedy that has occurred in recent months.
Who knows if the chef’s apologies were enough to silence everything. What he involuntarily said was so strong that even Antonella Clerici was unable to appreciate it. She has always been a cheerful woman, capable of taking a joke, but she didn’t like what was said either.
“Now, having said that.. It’s not nice..” this is the comment he made after hearing the chef’s words. She didn’t take it well at all.
Not to mention a Rai summit, which commented on the entire affair with these words: “The exchange of words in the Rai1 morning broadcast hosted by Antonella Clerici is intolerable. I hope that professionals like Antonella Clerici are always prepared to intervene energetically to stigmatize such expressions.”
An unfortunate joke in a difficult moment
This wasn’t meant to be a joke about rape culture, but after what has happened in recent months is more than normal that such a joke is no longer tolerated.
