2024 Honda Wave 125i: Specs, Features, Engine, Fuel Consumption, and Price in Thailand

The latest version of the Honda Wave 125i launched in Thailand. This motorbike is a twin of the Honda Supra X 125 which is marketed in Indonesia. But of course, the latest Wave 125i is here with a fresher appearance and more modern features. What are the specifications like?

Design

In terms of design, the Honda Wave 125i appears with an elegant appearance. The headlights are quite sporty and sharp, while the turn signals are shaped like boomerangs, which are connected in the middle with a chrome finish.

Features

Even though it is simple, the Wave 125i is equipped with several modern features, such as LED lights at the front and LED lights at the back. This rear LED light has a quite modern design with a shape like the letter X.

Another feature that is also quite useful is the analog instrument panel, which is combined with a small digital screen. The analog instrument panel shows the motorbike speed, while a small digital display shows the fuel indicator, transmission position and also the motorbike’s mileage.

Regarding accommodation, the storage compartment under the motorbike seat has a capacity of 17 liters and can accommodate a full face helmet. This motorbike uses a telescopic front suspension and a double suspension at the rear. The brakes use discs at the front and drums at the rear. What’s interesting is that this motorbike still provides a place to place drink bottles on the front dashboard.

Engine and Fuel Consumption

The Honda Wave 125i is powered by a 125 cc Honda Smart Engine, PGM-FI injection, with bore x stroke: 52.4 mm x 57.9 mm. This machine can produce around 9.06 hp of power and 10.2 Nm of torque.

This motorbike is also claimed to be very efficient, and can achieve an average fuel consumption of 71.4 km/liter. Apart from that, the Wave 125i is equipped with a Piston Oil Jet system to help better heat dissipation, reduce wear, durability and also extend the life of the vehicle.

Color Options and Prices

The 2024 Honda Wave 125i is offered in four new colors, red (MAT RED), white-blue (WHITE BLUE), black-red (BLACK RED), and gray. The Honda Wave 125i is sold at a starting price of 55,200 baht (Rp. 24.6 million) and the most expensive is 57,400 baht (Rp. 25 million).
