Yesterday, 11 Palestinians were killed, including seven in an Israeli drone strike on Jenin, while Israeli forces announced the killing of one of their members as a result of detonating an explosive device in a military vehicle, and a settler was killed in a shooting operation north of Ramallah.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health, in Ramallah, said in a statement that “six citizens were killed as a result of an Israeli march bombing a gathering of citizens near the Martyrs’ Roundabout, south of Jenin,” and later reported that the toll had risen to seven.
Reports indicated that among the six dead in the bombing of the Israeli march were 4 brothers. At the same time, Palestinian media reported, citing medical sources, that more than 10 others were injured as a result of Israeli bombing on the city of Jenin in the West Bank.
The Israeli army reported that an Israeli soldier was killed in the Jenin clashes and 4 of its members were injured during an operation in the Jenin camp.
The Israeli army also killed a young man (28 years old) in the village of Abwein, north of Ramallah. A girl (4 years old) and a young man and his wife were killed after Israeli forces opened fire on them at the Beit Iksa military checkpoint, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses reported that the occupation forces opened fire on two vehicles as they passed through the checkpoint, wounding a Palestinian who was driving his vehicle under the pretext of trying to carry out a ramming attack with his wife. A child who was in another car was also injured.
Palestinian media also reported that a settler was killed in a shooting at his car at a crossroads north of the city of Ramallah in the West Bank, and the Israeli army quickly closed all practical entrances to Ramallah.
