Due to bad weather in Zaporozhye and Dnieper, difficulties arose with public transport. In particulartrolleybus traffic was stopped in Zaporozhye.
“This happened due to icing of the contact wire,” the city portal reported.
In Dnieper Due to freezing rain turning into snow and an increase in the number of accidents, public transport operates with changes:
- trams run according to an operational schedule, delays are possible;
- Trolleybuses move with significant deviations from the schedule. Routes No. 3, No. 7, No. 17, No. 20 go to the street. Stoletovaya;
- buses run at increased intervals.
Bad weather in Ukraine
It is expected that a cold wave will come to Ukraine due to Arctic air from northern Europe and the formation of an active cyclone in the south of the country.
Ukrainians were warned about severe frosts. In some regions the temperature will drop to -25 degrees. In particular, bad weather will be accompanied by significant snow, blizzards, and icy conditions.
