EXCLUSIVE: To hear a typically childish voice combined with the coarsest grain of content is something you rarely come across. At one elementary school in the Central Bohemia region, however, they are solving just such a ‘contradiction’.
And he solves it diligently.
Our editors had the opportunity to speak both with the parent of one of the pupils and with the management of the school in question. Due to the atmosphere that currently prevails at the site, we have promised to preserve the anonymity of all those quoted.
The problem concerns a pupil who transferred here last September from Prague. When her mother went to register her, she was said to have behaved quite normally. No fluctuations in behavior, mood. The management of the elementary school did not notice anything like that. “I didn’t notice anything that could raise doubts, it’s not a socially weak background, definitely not,” the director of the local elementary school told PrahaIN.cz.
Already then, we are talking about September 2023, very unusual messages started appearing on the WhatsApp group of students of this class. The author was a newly arrived girl. He repeatedly mentions Prague here, repeatedly speaks vulgarly, and some of the sentences were literally thrown by the children. “There are people who will kill you!” reads one of the messages available to PrahaIN.cz.

Of course, there are more similarly sharp records. The girl told one of her classmates to “shut up”, another: “You’re not worth anything at all, you’re fat!”
The quoted messages caused fear in the village-type school. But exclusively among children. The school management and parents only found out about them several months later. “I didn’t know about it at all, otherwise I would have intervened,” one of the parents told our editors. He’s scared too. “We found out about it only when this pupil allegedly left for a longer vacation, and the children stopped being afraid, that was the trigger for everything,” the management of the elementary school confirmed to the editors. Immediately afterwards, there was a meeting with the parents.
No one has encountered such behavior here in decades.
“We really didn’t know about it, it happened exclusively outside of school on that group. The children were afraid to talk about it. The pupil, on the other hand, claimed last year that she was being bullied, but I rule that out. When I ask the children, they answer that they feel sorry for her,” added the director.

Police, OSPOD
But regret is far from the mental state of some parents. “I’m going to report it to the police. Although it is about a child, these reports cause concern and I perceive them as a potential crime,” said a local parent to PrahaIN.cz. “I was totally knocking myself when I listened to it,” he added.
The approached lawyer approved this procedure.
“Of course, it is necessary that everything be reported to the police immediately and they check everything, they have procedures for this. This is no fun at all. In the next phase, there is also the Child Social and Legal Protection Authority (OSPOD),” he explained.
In addition, the already tense emotions are underlined by the echoes of the tragic events from the FF UK, which took place at the end of the year in Prague.
“We saw mom once last year. Then, when there were problems with the behavior of her daughter, who is repeating a year, she refused our meetings, did not answer our phone, made excuses, did not go. But if you ask me if the solution is to transfer to another facility, then I will only answer that the parents of this pupil would have to agree to it,” the elementary school management concluded for PrahaIN.cz.

In addition to the parents and the school management, PrahaIN.cz also spoke with the educational advisor there. Her words underscored the stated reality. “Children are really afraid of her, even boys are afraid that she will do something to them,” said this expert. Even she has not encountered a similar approach in her previous practice. “I will give one example. It is stated in the school rules and all children know and respect that phones are not to be used during and outside of class. We want kids to talk to each other, not be on the internet. This girl pulls it out in front of me and starts talking on the phone. She is rude, vulgar, we have not encountered that,” she added.
However, there is another aspect.
“We had a serious interview with her that she must not behave like this. Before she came to class, she lied a completely different version that she presented to the children. She did it in a minute! He manipulates them, intimidates some, humiliates others,” it’s a really complicated situation.
Last but not least, the guidance counselor told us that even she does not know exactly what will happen if the girl stays at school. “I can’t imagine it at all. The children in the class are very good, not spoiled. This girl’s approach is diametrically different. And I’m not talking about how it benefits or does not benefit at all,” she added.
It is said that the previous school where the girl worked did not register any significant problems. Here, however, the thirteen-year-old student failed several subjects and had serious problems with the number of missed classes.
