The Secretary of State Public Security, Manuel Alonso García, declared that there are conditions of certainty for the electoral process that takes place in Aguascalientes in 2024.
He expressed that the state has security indicators that guarantee a conflict-free scenario, although this does not exempt the need to maintain preventive actions to avoid situations such as homicides of pre-candidates registered in other states.
He detailed that there is a direct link with the electoral authorities to implement established protocols and mechanisms, both with the State Electoral Institute and the National Electoral Institute. Likewise, he mentioned the possibility of offering protection to candidates who request it, as determined by the competent authorities.
Alonso García highlighted that the entity is in a different situation regarding the violence that, unfortunately, has been recently recorded in other states of the country.
In relation to the return to classes this coming Monday, he reported that an operation has been prepared to prevent accidents with the return of students. He called on the population to take the time necessary to make their trips safely, avoiding risky actions such as distracted or speeding driving, which can cause accidents.
GOOD NEWS. According to information from the SSPE, during the Christmas and New Year celebrations there was a reduction in road accidents close to 40% compared to previous years.
