“If people who left Russia, even speaking out somewhere and saying something against it, returned with the understanding that they had made a mistake, then the Motherland cannot reject them. I cannot formulate any other approach to this topic other than the Christian one,” the Rossiya 1 TV channel reports the words of Patriarch Kirill.
The Patriarch emphasized that quite worthy Russians could go abroad. He added that many of them were initially afraid of the difficulties, but then realized their mistake and repented. According to Kirill, the country must accept and forgive those who return to their home.
