“I don’t think there’s much difference. Everyone knows that there is a lot more money in the Premier League. All clubs that participate in this competition can buy players for 30 million euros. Yes, that’s the difference. But when it comes to quality I don’t really agree, I think La Liga has extraordinary players.
The atmosphere here is incredible. England also has a very good atmosphere. I don’t want to speak badly about the Premier League because it’s a great league, great fans. But if people watched more La Liga, they would realize that it is an incredible competition, and so would the fans. If you play against Osasuna, you see their fans cheering like crazy. Or in Cadiz. And when we play at home, the fans behind the gates don’t stop singing… It’s wonderful,” Tierney was quoted as saying by Noticias de Gipuzkoa.
