Everton Ribeiro has a contract with Bahia until the end of 2025

The season is about to start and, therefore, the clubs are moving to reinforce the squads with a focus on 2024 commitments. Thus, Bahia announced the first signing for the year. This is Everton Ribeiro, ex-Flamengo.

Through a video published on social media, the Bahia announced, on Saturday afternoon (06), the signing of the midfielder: “Come on, star! That’s exactly what you’re thinking. Everton Ribeiro is from Bahia.” In the images, the player appears wearing the Bahian team’s shirt.

Everton Ribeiro had a contract with Flamengo until December 2023. The Rio club and the player tried to reach an agreement to extend the contract. However, while the athlete asked for two more seasons, Rubro-Negro offered only one. Thus, Bahia sent a proposal for two years, salary gain and the opportunity to be an ambassador for Grupo City upon retirement.

TRAJECTORY IN FLAMENGO

At Flamengo since 2017, Everton Ribeiro says goodbye to Mais Querido, after 365 games. In total, the number 7 scored 42 goals and provided 60 assists.
