Corinthians Signs Record-Breaking $360 Million Sponsorship Deal with VaideBet

O Corinthians closed the biggest master sponsorship in the history of Brazilian football. The club reached an agreement with the bookmaker VaideBet for a three-year contract worth a total of R$360 million.

VaideBet will pay R$120 million per season to occupy the space on the team’s shirt Corinthians, which since 2021 has been owned by Hypera Pharma (Vitaminas Neo Química). The current sponsor pays around R$22 million annually to the club (the agreement was closed at R$17 million, but was corrected).

In addition to the main team’s shirt, the agreement includes sponsorships for the women’s, e-sports and grassroots teams.

Currently, Flamengo and Palmeiras have the biggest sponsorships in Brazil. Rubro-Negro signed a two-year contract with Pixbet for R$170 million (R$85 million per season).

The Alviverde club has a fixed R$81 million contract with Crefisa, which can reach R$120 million with bonuses for titles – in 2023, it was R$95 million in total with the Recopa, Paulista and Brasileiro victories.

At the end of last year, under the command of then president Duilio Monteiro Alves, the Corinthians signed an agreement with Pixbet for R$75 million per year. However, president-elect Augusto Melo asked that the agreement not be implemented because it had a larger proposal.

Pixbet has a contract to print the brand on the shoulders of the player’s shirt Corinthians until the end of 2025, but the link must be broken, so that VaideBet has exclusivity on the black and white uniform.
