A variety of mussels whose success is praised beyond the Atlantic. The Facebook group Moules de bouchot de la Côte d’Opale-JEV has just published a video showing an advertising spot for this shellfish which is the pride of an entire region.

Since 2013, bouchot mussels have been recognized as a guaranteed traditional specialty. This European sign protects a traditional recipe and does not refer to an origin.

In the images broadcast on a giant screen in Times Square, in the heart of New York City, we see a local professional preparing ropes and stakes on which our beloved bouchot molds are hung. An American-style ad which contributes to the fame of this variety.
