Mopeds in Thailand never die. The proof is that until 2024, the White Elephant country will consistently launch the latest duck models. Most recently, Honda Thailand has just introduced the newest Wave 125i. This model is the twin of the Honda Supra X 125 which is sold in Indonesia.
Quoted from Greatbiker, the 2024 Honda Wave 125i is offered in four new colors, red (MAT RED), white-blue (WHITE BLUE), black-red (BLACK RED), and gray. Honda’s flagship moped is marketed with prices starting at 55,200 baht (Rp. 24.6 million) and the most expensive at 57,400 baht (Rp. 25 million).
In terms of design, the Honda Wave 125i has a simple appearance typical of Honda motorbikes. However, this motorbike also gets modern touches, such as full LED lights, a digital instrument panel, and a disc braking system.
Regarding accommodation, the storage compartment under the motorbike seat has a capacity of 17 liters and can accommodate a full face helmet. This motorbike uses a telescopic front suspension and a double suspension at the rear.
The Honda Wave 125i is claimed to be economical, powerful and durable with a 125 cc Honda Smart Engine which comes with a PGM-FI injection system. This motorbike is claimed to have an average fuel consumption of 71.4 km/liter. This motorbike is equipped with a Piston Oil Jet system to help better heat dissipation, reduce wear, durability and extend vehicle life.
