Russian Political Strategist Warns of Potential Coup Attempt in the Russian Federation

A new coup attempt may soon occur in Russia, believes Stanislav Belkovsky.

He was interested in the statement of the ideologist of the “Russian world”, the far-right philosopher Alexander Dugin, who almost directly began to demand the transfer of power to Igor Shchegolev, who now holds the post of plenipotentiary representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District.

And now war has come to the country“, said Dugin.

Belkovsky considers such a statement a harbinger of another coup in the Russian Federation.

“In the Russian Federation, a coup d’état may soon be attempted, which would make last year’s rebellion by Yevgeny Prigozhin seem like baby talk. The likely ideologist of the coup is the famous philosopher Alexander Dugin, who the day before directly called for the transfer of emergency powers, including the right to impose martial law, to his patron and patron – Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District Igor Shchegolev. It is known that behind Messrs. Shchegolev and Dugin is billionaire Konstantin Malofeev, owner of the Tsargrad holding.“- said Belkovsky.

He noted that Malofeev is also the patron of the now arrested security officer Igor Strelkov (Girkin). It is believed that it was for the money of this billionaire that in 2014 Strelkov sparked a military conflict in the East of Ukraine.
