ASUS Preparing to launch WALNUT PLEASE ASUS’s first compact gaming PC at CES 2024 on January 8, 2024.
Last year, Intel announced it was halting investment in NUC products and transferring all of its NUC business to ASUS, and this appears to be the first product ASUS has developed under its own name.
The ROG NUC system will not be designed to compete with its own product, the ROG C22H, which is a small PC. But provide full specs. It has an Intel Core i9-14900KF processor and RTX 4070 GPU with full cooling. But it is more likely to replace Intel’s NUC 13 Extreme.
From the teaser image that was released You’ll see a design that’s the same style as the Intel NUC 12 Enthusiast, codenamed Serpent Canyon. That model uses the 12th generation Intel Alder Lake processor and Intel Arc A770M graphics.
ASUS hasn’t released any products using Arc graphics yet, so it’s uncertain whether the upcoming NUC ROG will be the first ASUS product to use it.
