Al-Ahly Club revealed in an official statement the developments in the health condition of Al-Amri Farouk, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Red Castle, after the health illness that struck him recently, causing him to enter a coma.

Al-Ahly’s statement on the latest developments in the condition of the club’s vice president was as follows: “Amri Farouk, the former Minister of Sports, will undergo a comprehensive examination in the next few hours by a medical consulto of senior specialist doctors.”
The statement explained, “They discussed the possibility of him traveling outside the country and then presented their final decision to foreign experts in a hospital in Europe, to confirm that the travel process was completed to complete treatment in an optimal manner without him being exposed to any health setback.”
He revealed, “This came through continuous communication and consultation between the club’s board of directors, headed by Mahmoud Al-Khatib, and the family of Al-Amri Farouk, to work to provide the best treatment and full medical care in one of the major hospitals outside the country so that he can overcome the health ordeal and may God grant him a speedy recovery.”
