Because the Old Salt formation is absolutely worth seeing and hearing. Tickets for the concert are still available at the Nürtinger Zeitung city office on Friday, January 5th until 5 p.m. and at the box office on Saturday. Old Salt is a band from Belgium that was founded in 2013 by lead singer and banjo player Dan Wall, who was previously a busker in New York. The American now lives in Germany. The band’s style is a happy and upbeat mix of Americana, Swedish polka, Balkan music, blues, folk, country music and jazz. Influences from New Orleans, Belgium, Sweden, France, Scotland and Chile can be heard. And the audience was always enthusiastic from the first minute of the formation’s performances in various locations in Germany. The four-piece band will perform for the first time as part of the “Light of Hope” campaign. In addition to Dan Wall, the Belgian Lotte Remmen (violin), the Belgian Johannes Wannyn (guitar) and the French Toby Kuhn (cello) will also be on stage in Unterensingen.
