A tragedy mourns Hollywood: actor Christian Oliver and his two daughters lose their lives in a plane crash.

The German actor, a nationalized American, with more than fifteen years of artistic career, lost his life in a plane crash. Oliver was traveling with his daughters, Madita and Annik, aged 10 and 12 respectively, and the pilot Robert Sachs, heading to the island of Saint Lucia.
The aircraft took off around 12:00 local time (16:00 GMT) from James Mitchell Airport in Bequia, territory of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, but minutes later it crashed specifically one nautical mile west of Petit Nevis.
A person who was in the area managed to capture the moment the aircraft fell into the water and recorded it on video. The citizen decided to post the moment on his social networks. “The plane has crashed! Call the Coast Guard,” exclaimed the person who recorded the video.
According to the newspaper Searchlight, in Saint Vincent, Sachs alerted the control tower at the local airport that he was having problems with the plane, so he wanted to return to the runway. This was the last recorded communication from the control tower.
The bodies were rescued by the St. Vincent Coast Guard. The cause of the accident is not clear at the moment, so the authorities are investigating the events.
Who is Christian Oliver?
Christian Oliver was born in Germany in 1972, but became an American citizen. He is recognized for his extensive 15-year career in the film and television industry, highlighted by his performances in important films Speed Racer (2008) and The Good German (2006).
In 2023, he was a voice actor in the acclaimed film Indiana Jones and the call of destiny. Until just a few days ago, Christian Oliver was still working towards 2024, as he had just filmed his last scenes on December 20 for the upcoming film Forever Hold Your Peace, of which he was a producer.
