Rome, January 5 (QNA) – The Italian club Inter Milan announced in a statement today the team’s first deal in the winter transfer period by signing Canadian winger Tajon Buchanan, coming from the Belgian club Club Brugge, without revealing the details of the deal.
Buchanan played on the right and left sides when he played for the Belgian Club Brugge, where Norwegian coach Ronnie Deila relied on him in the Belgian League and European Champions League matches.
It is noteworthy that Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi worked to include Buchanan to compensate for the absence of Colombian player Juan Cuadrado, who suffers from a severe injury, as a result of which he underwent surgery and will be absent for several months.
Inter Milan leads the Italian League with 45 points this season and will meet Hellas Verona tomorrow, Saturday, in the matches of the 19th round of the competition at the San Siro Stadium.
Inter is seeking to regain victories, after stumbling in the last round in a draw with Genoa (1-1), in order to maintain the lead in the Italian League to regain the title that has been absent from its coffers for 3 seasons.
