Director Jude Anthony said that even before the background score of the film Om Shanti Oshana, he was afraid that the film would run. Judd added that when Shaan Rahman scored in the background until half-time, he said he was not afraid. But Jude Anthony Mirchi told Malayalam that after the background score came, the film was said to run for 100 days.
‘For Om Shanti Oshana, I was scared till I finished the background score. The mood was that it would run for a week before we saw the background score. Shanika scores its background. When it was half way through I said that there was nothing to be afraid of. I said 100 days will run by the climax. After that, the day it hit the theatres, I was sure that the film would become a super hit,’ said Jude Anthony.
Before the 2018 release of the film, the promotion of the film was minimal. But after the first show of the film, Judd also said in the interview that he realized that he would not need much promotion.
‘As soon as 2018 was announced, I heard that this film was not supported by him. But I loved it. Because the easiest way to put me down is to say I’m terrible. That being said, I will lie down and sleep.
