- Microsoft started selling a new product under the Xbox brand – a toaster
- It copies the design of the Xbox Series S and is currently only available in the US for $39
Microsoft may now open its own division of kitchen appliances. In the fall of 2022, it introduced the Xbox mini-fridge, in which players can hide snacks or drinks needed during longer gaming sessions. And now it’s coming up with another custom take on a typical kitchen appliance, namely the toaster.
Xbox branded toaster
Toasts are among the most popular snacks of all players. They are cheap to make and do not require a lot of preparation. Maybe that’s why the American company responsible for the Xbox gaming console decided to bring its own electric toaster, moreover, brought out in a design reminiscent of the Xbox Series S console.
The body of the kitchen appliance is white and is intended to be upright and landscaped. There are control buttons on the right side, and a large black circle in front, which is so typical of the more affordable version of the Xbox Series. Not only does the product look almost identical to the console, but it features an extra-wide slot that can fit up to two slices of bread. A nice touch is that it prints the Xbox logo on everything you bake.

Xbox Mini Fridge review: when a joke is successful
Much like the Xbox mini-fridge, this kitchen toaster doesn’t quite match the dimensions of the Xbox Series S console. While the gaming machine is 28 centimeters high, 15 centimeters wide and 6.5 centimeters thick, its toaster counterpart measures 19 x 38 × 12 centimeters.
So far only in the US
If you liked the unique toaster in the design of the game console, you have to give it a try for now. Although there was speculation about the product already during the spring of last year, it is only now going on sale, and so far only in the USA. So far, only Walmart has stocked it, the official Xbox store is still empty.
If you happen to have a trip to the US, you can get one. The price stopped at 39 dollars, which translates to roughly 1,070 crowns including VAT. However, in case of success on the overseas market, availability can also be expected in Europe, as was the case with the already mentioned refrigerator.
