Head of DKI Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, revealed the chronology behind the viral incident member of the DKI Jakarta Transportation Department (Dishub). stuck on the hood of the car. Syafrin said the members were taken by car drivers from Setiabudi, South Jakarta, to Menteng, Central Jakarta.
Syafrin said the incident occurred on Wednesday (3/1/2024) at 13.30 WIB. At that time, members of the Transportation Agency were doing it monitoring illegal parking in the Setiabudi area, South Jakarta, suddenly the car driver raised his finger while recording the actions of members of the Transportation Agency.
“During the raid on Jalan Denpasar Raya, one of the drivers of a red Avanza car with vehicle number A-1679-YG recorded and raised his middle finger at all the officers. The driver passed four times at that location, while raising his middle finger at the officers,” said Syafrin in his statement received, Thursday (4/1/2023).
Syafrin said that members of the Transportation Agency at the location stopped the driver with the intention of asking why the driver was going back and forth to the location while raising his middle finger. However, the driver was uncooperative and drove his vehicle until another member came stick on the hood of the car.
“But the driver was uncooperative and chose to step on the gas and almost hit the officers. One of the officers was trying to avoid being hit by the car, instead he was carried on the hood and carried to the Menteng area,” he said.
Syafrin said the car hit a motorbike, but did not stop and continued speeding. There were two residents who tried to chase him and managed to stop the car on Jalan Menteng, Central Jakarta.
Then the vehicle and its driver were taken to the Setiabudi Police. The problem has ended peacefully.
“Subsequently, the problem was resolved amicably and the driver apologized to the Transportation Agency officers,” he said.
