MALANG, KOMPAS.TV – Grief covers the extended family of Ni Made Sutarini, in Banjarangkang, Klungkung, Bali.
Sutarini died at the hands of her husband, James Lodewyk, by being mutilated.
The family suspects that the murder and mutilation of Sutarini’s body were planned by the perpetrator.
The family added that the victim and her child often experienced domestic violence from the perpetrator.
Malang Police, East Java said the perpetrator’s cruel action was triggered by emotion because the victim had left him for a long time.
The perpetrator took action after learning that the victim was in Malang City while attending an event.
The perpetrator forced the victim to go home and when he arrived home, the perpetrator carried out his cruel act.
The police have autopsied the victim who was mutilated by her husband and examined the perpetrator’s mental health.
As a result, it was declared that the perpetrator was normal and consciously killed and mutilated his wife.
For his actions, the perpetrator, who is the victim’s husband, faces life imprisonment or the death penalty.
