Group Hizbullahallies Hamasgave a strong reaction to the death of Hamas deputy leader Saleh al-Aruri due to drone attacks Israel in Beirut, Lebanonon Tuesday (2/1) evening local time.
Hezbollah announced that it had killed a number of Israeli soldiers on the Lebanese border, after emphasizing that the Israeli attack that killed Aruri would not go unpunished. That’s as reported Al ArabiyaWednesday (3/1/2024).
Hezbollah, which is backed by Iran and is headquartered in Lebanon, called the “treacherous” Israeli attack an attack on Lebanon and its sovereignty.
“This crime will never go without response and punishment,” Hezbollah stressed in its statement.
“Our resistance… has determined the trigger and… our fighters are at the highest level of preparedness and preparedness,” the Hezbollah statement said.
In a follow-up statement on Tuesday (2/1) evening, Hezbollah claimed the group had targeted, killed and injured a number of Israeli soldiers on the border with Lebanon.
Israel has not responded to Hezbollah’s claims regarding the killing of a number of soldiers on the Israel-Lebanon border.
