Sabarimala Virtual Queue Limit Cut: Booking Reduced for Makaravilak Day

14th and 15th virtual queue limit cut

Sabarimala: With the increase in the number of pilgrims to Sabarimala, the spot booking system has been completely eliminated from 10. There will be no spot booking in any of the centers of Devaswombord including Pampa till the closure of the road.

Devotees who usually arrive three days before Makarvilak, camp at various places without leaving Sannidhanam for darshan of Makarvilak and Thiruvabharan darshan. Travancore Devaswom Board President P. S. said that in this situation, if more people climb the mountain again, it will seriously affect the safety and smooth darshan. Prashant said.

Booking limit in virtual queue reduced to 50,000 on 14th. Only 40,000 people are allowed on the 15th of Makarvilak Day. Earlier, the virtual queue was fixed at 80,000 each and spot booking at 10,000 each on these two days.

The board has also requested that women and children should avoid visiting Sabarimala on those days as there will be heavy rush on 14th and 15th.
