Terms and Conditions for Event Registrations: Payment, Cancellation, and COVID-19 Policy

Terms and conditions

Full payment must be made at least ten days before an event is held.

If you are unable to pay by credit card, please contact us at evenementslesaffaires@groupecontex.ca during normal business hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday.

General cancellation and refund policy

Any request to cancel an event must be sent to evenementslesaffaires@groupecontex.ca no later than ten (10) working days before the initial date set for the event in order to obtain a refund. No refunds are applicable ten (10) days before the initial date set for the event.

The fact of not participating in the event for any reason does not in any way release you from the obligation to pay the applicable fees, but you can transfer your registration to a person of your choice at any time by notifying us in writing. at evenementslesaffaires@groupecontex.ca

Groupe Contex Inc., or any other related entity, reserves the right to postpone or modify the programming and format of the event in whole or in part, without notice. If an event is postponed, registration will be automatically transferred to the new scheduled date.

In the event of official cancellation of the event by Groupe Contex Inc., or any other related entity, its liability will be limited to the reimbursement of registration fees already paid. Only events officially canceled by Groupe Contex Inc. will be subject to a refund.

Change policy without notice due to COVID-19

According to the public safety measures linked to COVID-19 put in place by the government of Quebec, we reserve the right to postpone events to another date or change the format from an in-person edition to a virtual edition without notice. All event registrations will automatically be transferred to a new edition, virtual or physical. Registrations transferred to a virtual edition or postponed to another date due to COVID-19 are subject to the general cancellation and refund policy.

Confidentiality

All information collected by Événements lesaffaires during your registration will be treated with the highest confidentiality. No information is transmitted to third parties. For your protection, all information relating to online transactions is conducted on our secure server.

Activities offered remotely

Participation in distance learning requires the use of a web camera, microphone and headset. Participants are responsible for the proper functioning of their equipment and the quality of their internet connection.

Only the person registered for the training (or their replacement) is authorized to attend.

A participant who does not respect these rules may be removed from the training without the possibility of reimbursement or compensation.
