The investigation into the murder of Krasimir Kamenov-Kuro in South Africa is at a dead end. Authorities in Cape Town have no suspects in the attack, in which Kamenov, his wife, a bodyguard and a housekeeper were shot dead. One of the versions that the services worked on a week ago is that behind the order there was a deal with rough diamonds, “24 Chasa” learned. It was checked whether Kuro was not involved in the traffic with jewels, because in three executions of Bulgarians years ago, unregulated sales of diamonds were involved.

Government figures indicate that the majority of the victims were part of a gem-trafficking network.
The curious thing is that hardened criminals who have been wanted for years for drug dealing, contract killings, robberies, playing cards or defrauding millions, are only shot when they enter into a scheme to buy or sell diamonds.
