Snoop Dogg to Join NBC’s Coverage Team for Paris Olympic Games

Rapper will be in France on NBC channel

American rapper Snoop Dogg (52) will be part of the American channel NBC’s coverage team for the Paris Olympic Games, which will take place between July 26th and August 11th.

For the artist this is nothing new, since in other editions, such as in 2021, he has already made a splash by commenting on some sports alongside actor Kevin Hart. Now it will even be in France with special segments for the ‘Olympic Primetime Show’.

Snoop Dogg announced the news in a video alongside some American athletes: Suni Lee (gymnastics), A’ja Wilson (basketball), Jagger Eaton (skateboard) and the duo Kelly Cheng and Sara Hughes (beach volleyball).

«I will enjoy seeing these incredible athletes giving their all in Paris. It is a celebration of competence, dedication and the pursuit of greatness. Of course I’ll take it ‘Snoop style’, these will be the most epic Olympics ever. Let’s elevate, celebrate and make these games unforgettable », he commented.

NBC justified the hiring of the rapper: «During the Games, Snoop will speak with presenter Mike Tirico, and bring to the American public his unique perspective on what is happening in Paris. He will explore the city’s iconic landmarks, participate in Olympic competitions and events, and visit athletes, friends and family.”
