Two girls and one boy are the newborns in the first hours of 2024 in three of the capital’s hospitals. This was reported to BTA by Dr. Emil Gurchev, obstetrician-gynecologist on duty in the Maternity Hall of the University General Hospital “Maichin Dom” and Dr. Konstantin Malenov, director of the First SAGBAL “St. Sofia” and the press center of the UMBAL “St. Anna” .
At four minutes past midnight he was born this year’s first baby in “Machin dom”. It is a girl and weighs 2,450 kg, said the doctor on duty, Dr. Emil Gurchev. The last baby born for 2023 at the hospital is a boy. Five babies were born in the early hours of 2024. in “Mother’s Home”, and the total number of births last year was 3186.
First SAGBAL “St. Sofia” ends the year with 1941 births, pointed out Dr. Malenov. The baby girl who cried at 2:34 a.m. in 2024 will be named Vasilena.
UMBAL “St. Anna” reports that the first baby to cry in 2024 is boy weighing 3,150 kg. and height 52 cm. Traditionally, over the years, births at “St. Anna” Hospital have been over 800.
Doctors wish for more normal births and for healthy and happy children to be born.
