“My football expectations in 2024:
1. The Ukrainian national team will qualify for the Euro. Sergei Rebrov’s team will pass through Bosnia and Israel/Iceland. In the final part they will leave the group and be eliminated in the first match of the playoffs.
2. The Ukrainian youth team will compete in the Euro. England will win our group, and we will go to the Euro from second place as one of the best teams. Serbia will be only the third.
3. The 2007 Ukrainian national team will qualify for the Euro. In a group with Switzerland, Greece and Slovakia, we will be able to take first or second place. We have a very strong generation of players this year.
4. Tsygankov will move to the Premier League. It won’t be some top club, but a very good team like Brighton.
5. Girona will sell Dovbik at a high price. In the summer, Artem will change his club registration. Dovbik could not only end up in the Premier League, but also be promoted in Spain, or go to Serie A (replacing Giroud in Milan), the Bundesliga (Borussia Dortmund).
6. Sudakov will change the team in the summer. Somewhere it will be like with Mudryk – he moved to Arsenal, but became a Chelsea player. Zhora’s new club will not be Juve.
7. Mikolenko will move to a stronger club in the summer. Not MS, Liverpool or Arsenal, but something like Manchester United, VH.
8. Sobol and Yaremchuk will be eliminated from the leading championships. The best periods of both have already passed. Then there is only a fall.
9. Lunin will remain in Real Madrid. He simply won’t dare to change. Real Madrid will activate another option for a year.
10. Brazhko makes his debut for the Ukrainian national team. The Dynamo defensive midfielder will force Sergei Sidorchuk out not only from the club, but from the national team.
11. Kalitvintsev will leave Polesie. The ambitions and desires of the club from Zhitomir are much greater than the capabilities of Yuri Nikolaevich. Shovkovsky and Pusic will work the whole year,” Sergei wrote on Facebook.
