Child Seriously Injured in Den Bosch Apartment Fire; Police Car Crashes Near Shell Gas Station

A 2-year-old child was seriously injured in a fire on a balcony of an apartment building on Admiraliteitslaan in Den Bosch. The fire started around half past one. The child has been taken to hospital.

The fire brigade quickly brought the fire under control on the first floor of the apartment. The building did not have to be evacuated.

It was initially reported that two residents were injured. They were said to have been taken to the hospital by ambulance. It is not clear what the child’s exact injuries are.

Police get out of control
A speeding police car veered off the bend on the Vlijmenseweg near the Shell gas station. No one was injured. The police car rammed into a tree along the way and was severely damaged. A salvage company had to tow the car.
