“I am happy to announce that I have renewed the XËYU Ndaw ÑI Program for three years, covering 82,000 youth jobs for an amount of 450 billion CFA francs. Thanks to all these instruments active across the national territory, we have improved the living environment of our cities, built and rehabilitated places of worship, created jobs and other income-generating activities,” said Macky Sall. which also provides information on Der financing.
“We have financed thousands of young people and women project leaders, including 250,000 recipients of Der/Fj loans. And we have enabled millions of beneficiaries to access basic social services, including health coverage, the rate of which increased from 20% in 2013 to 53.2% in 2023. From Thiéyène to Bagaya, from Fissel in Saré Liou, from Diallocounda to Waalidiala, among other hundreds of localities, we have opened up entire sections of the national territory, provided water and electricity, equipped health structures, and provided materials for relief of women’s work,” declared President Sall.
At the same time, he said, the State continues to support households and workers. “In addition to the general increase in salaries in the public service, we support the prices of basic foodstuffs, transport, water and energy, the subsidy of which alone increases this year more than 600 billion CFA francs,” recalled Macky Sall.
