Casseroles with minced meat are always spicy, hearty and simply delicious. If you add croquettes to the mix, it becomes a feast for the whole family.

A spicy ground beef stew with kidney beans and corn is commonly called chili con carne and has its origins in Tex-Mex cuisine. This style was developed in the USA, more specifically in Texas, and includes recipes from the USA, such as burgers, steaks and more, crossed with typical Mexican ingredients. The result is quesadillas and creative developments such as enchilada lasagne, chicken fajita pasta or Texas burger toast. Chili con carne is just as popular, as already mentioned at the beginning. This tastes great as a soup or sometimes on a tray with potato wedges or croquettes.
