January 1 and 2 are New Year holidays, these dates in our country are officially recognized as non-working holidays, the Ministry of Labor recalled. And they clarified what next.
In accordance with the production calendar, in January 2024 Belarusians will have 25 working days with a six-day working week (with a day off on Sunday), and 21 working days with a five-day working week (with days off on Saturday and Sunday), told at the Ministry. And they gave a schedule according to the calculated norm.
The estimated working hours in January 2024 with a 40-hour work week will be:
- for a five-day work week with days off on Saturday and Sunday – 168 hours;
- for a six-day work week with a day off on Sunday – 166 hours.
Telegraf previously reported that the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection established an estimated standard working time for 2024. It turned out to be greater both for those Belarusians who work on a five-day working week and for those who work six days a week.
