Former Israeli Minister Admits: Division Led to Hamas Attacks

The division I created in Israel led to Hamas attacks: Israel’s ex-minister of public diplomacy

Tel Aviv: Israel’s former minister of public diplomacy said that the political rifts he created in Israel were the reason for Hamas’s counter-attack in Israel. Former Minister Galit Distal Atbarian was speaking in an interview with Channel 13 News, an Israeli media organization.

Distal Atbarian told the channel that he had been a part of the political problems in Israel over the past year. The former minister’s confession was that this became a reason why Hamas, the armed organization of Palestine, attacked Israel on October 7.

Distal Atbarian said that he is among those who have weakened the country and is complicit in creating cracks, division and tension in Israel.

Distal Atbaryan revealed that this tension in the country has resulted in a weakness. Distal Atbarian said that this political weakness is the cause of the massacre in Israel.

On October 13, Distel Atbarian resigned from his post as a minister after Hamas counterattacked.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that a former minister of the Palestinian Authority was killed in an Israeli attack. The Wafa news agency also reported that Youssef Salama, a former minister of religious affairs in the Palestinian Authority, was killed in a strike at Al Magazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
